Amaira Dhumatker not only possesses a high level of skill and proficiency but the game she plays and the expertise with which she does it speaks of endless hours of practice, endurance and dedication. Supported by her parents and Coach, Amaira at a tender age of seven has created history by winning the Doubles Crown U9 and U11 Singles at the All Goa Badminton Ranking Tournament organised at Campal Indoor Stadium, Panaji.

Indoor games held on 26th and 27th June.
Indoor games help children improve not only their physical fitness but it involves activities that incorporate a myriad of body movements. They improve focus, concentration and assiduity in kids and adults.
Researchers also believe that children who engage in indoor physical activities more develop fast-twitch muscles, which ultimately improves their reflexes.

Dilip Sardesai U16 Cricket Tournament
The Bhatikar Model High School under 16 boy’s cricket team has done it once again. This is the 4th year consecutively, the boys have won the very esteemed Dilip Sardesai U16 Cricket Tournament at Porvorim, nabbing the much-coveted trophy effortlessly. Kushal Hattangadi was declared the best batsman of the tournament, Shubham Gajinker won the Man of the Match and Rohan Naik was awarded the best bowler of the tournament. - In Skating Miss Saloni Vagurmekar secured Gold Medal in skating competition held in Dharwad and Miss Lisha Naik secured Gold Medal in Skating Competition held at Campal Panaji Goa.
- In Taekwondo Miss Mukta Deshpande participated in Taekwondo Competition held in Dharwad and Mast. Devesh Naik participated in Chess Competition held in Dadra and Nagar haveli secured 2nd Place.
- In Swimmimg Mast. Abhishek Kamat of std X secured the Gold Medal at the swimming championship organized by DSYA at the Taluka, District and State level in the 50m butterfly stroke.
