It is a matter of great pride to watch young students pick up a hobby at an early age, and then pursue it relentlessly till they attain a degree of mastery in that craft.
In 2020, when Covid confined students to the relative safety of their homes, Advait Kudchadkar, then in Grade VI at Bhatikar Model High School, Goa, put this time to good use in pursuit of his interest in Animation and VFX, and honed his nascent skills online, acquiring competence in the usage of softwares such as Premiere Pro, Blender, After Effects abd Photoshop.
In January 2024, now in Grade IX, Advait was invited to conduct a workshop on VFX at the Bulbul International Children’s Film Festival held in Goa – a task that he delivered with great competence, style, and humour, much to the delight of his audience.
Advait epitomizes our firm belief that there’s a huge world of learning that exists beyond the four walls of the classroom, waiting to be tapped. All the best in all your future ventures Advait. We will be waiting in the wings to applaud. Congratulations to Advait’s parents for their incessant support and motivation.

Students of Bhatikar Model High school participated in State Level Inter High School Competition, TALEXPO organised by Dr. K.B.Hedgewar Higher Secondary School, Cujira- Panjim, and emerged as the runners-up with the second highest score. They were awarded with a Runners-up Trophy and cash prize of three thousand rupees.
Our students participated enthusiastically in 40 different events, giving their best and most of them came up as winners.

Advait Kudchadkar, student of Std IX at Bhatikar Model High School, Margao, participated in DIDAC 2023, the 13th edition of Asia’s largest education expo held in Bangalore in October 2023.
Advait participated in DIDAC as Brand Ambassador of Goa CARES (Coding and Robotics Education in Schools), Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa, along with the CARES team, to present live demonstration of the CARES curriculum designed to develop computational and design thinking skills among students.
Advait had earlier bagged 1st place at Taluka Level and 2nd place at Goa State level prize at the Blender-based creative design thinking competition “Blender Nation-thon” conducted by Goa CARES in September 2023. At DIDAC, Advait showcased his prize winning projects from the competition which he had created using Blender software.
We are indeed proud of Advait. Congratulations to him and his parents.

Our students Miss Sakshi Swain and Miss Alfiya Shaikh of std. X participated in the All Goa Elocution Competition organised by Goa Science Centre in coordination with the State Family Welfare Bureau. The topic for the competition was ‘Effect of Overpopulation on Development and Nature’. We are proud to announce that Miss Sakshi Swain won the first prize. Congratulations to Sakshi! In the International Codeavour 2022, which is the biggest AI and Coding competition our student Tejas Sreepad Rao from Std. 8 has emerged as the 1st Runner up for the state of Goa (State Level) for his project “Be an Expert Driver”.. Due credit to Teachers Rajani Markande and Elma Fernandes.
Annual Exhibition 2023
The Annual Exhibition of the School was held on 28th February, Science Day to commemorate the Raman effect.
The Exhibition was declared open by our ex-Headmistress Sarita Malkarnekar. Students put up a number of projects and activities in all the subjects. The Exhibition was open to parents, students and the public. Some snapshots of the Exhibition.

School life is incomplete without competitions. Competitions in schools motivate students to realize their strengths and work upon their weaknesses. They boost their self esteem, communication skills, creativity and confidence. They help to make children emotionally and mentally strong. Every year just prior to Independence Day we hold competitions in story telling, elocution and dance to give children an opportunity to showcase their talents. This year too there was an overwhelming response.
And what is more important is some of our own ex students were our judges… our talented artists who know very well the anxiety and pressure each child experiences. Thank you Jyotee Pandey, Diya Padiyar, Trisha Bene, Sweta Kalwar, Sahil Khanvilkar.

Our talented artist Siya Salil Bhobe has done it again! Her painting has been selected to be displayed at the MOG- Musuem of Goa in the Children’s Art Section from 17th to 24th December. She was awarded a Certificate Of Achievement at the hands of renowned Artist Mr Subodh Kerkar, on 18th December for her artwork. Congratulations Siya.

Animation takes a very long time to learn, and it also takes a longer time to master the art well. Yet our student Dhruv Gaurav Pai Dukle of Std. VII has not only mastered this art to a certain level, but has won the 2nd place in the Animation Contest organised by the IKCC – International Kids Coding Competition. He is the only Indian among all the winners. Having developed a keen interest in coding he has developed several apps on his own . We are so proud of Dhruv. A big shout out to this creative genius and to his parents and mentors, Teacher Elma Fernandes and Rajani Markande.

In the film making contest organized by INTACH INDIA we have won the Best Documentary Film award for the film “Hampi –The capital city of Vijaynagar Empire “directed by teacher Pascy D’Costa and the Best Heritage Film For “Fernandes Heritage home Goa” “directed by Tr Teja Naik. Kranti Din: Students of the school won prizes at the competitions held at Lohia Maidan on 18th June Goa Kranti Din. Our singing group won the 2nd Prize at the Group Singing Competition. Miss Siya Rane won the 2nd prize in the essay writing competition and Miss Indrani Kakodker won the consolation prize in Group 2. Miss Anushri Keni won the 3rd place in the drawing Competition and our Singing Group won the 2nd prize. Congratulations!
School Cabinet workshop
Lead to Transform — The Council of Ministers of Bhatikar Model attended a workshop in Loyola High School on 29 June 2019. Lead to Transform was a wonderful experience where they learned qualities of leadership, time management and how to augment their skills and goals. The School Ministers Vaishnavi Kavitker, Malvika Korgaonker, Diya Padiyar, Yuga Sambary, Trisha Bene, Shruti Nayak, Amit Kumar Painku, Shrey Kumar Singh, Akshay Koujalgi, Vastav Rivonkar, Samarth Naik and Nilesh Udipi actively participated in this School Cabinet workshop “LEAD TO TRANSFORM”. They were accompanied by mentor teacher Manisha Dhume.
World Mangrove Day
Mangroves are coastal ecosystems that are vital to the environment. They buffer the coastal communities from storms, floods, and hurricanes and prevent soil erosion. The Dept of Zoology, Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science in association with the Mangrove Society of India, organized a poster competition to commemorate The World Mangroves Day on 26th July 2019. Our team comprising of Shruti Nayak and Vismay Kalekar won the 1st place. Congratulations to the students and mentor art teacher Sachin Naik.
Kshitij Project Expo & Quiz Competition
Alex Pereira and Amit Sukhtankar participated in the Kshitij Project Expo organized by Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda- Margao and won 3rd place in the Quiz Competition held on 25th July’19. Congratulations to the students and mentor teachers Akshaya Naik and Rukhiya Phaldesai.

- On 18th June 2018, an inter-school essay writing competition was conducted by the ‘18th June Kranti Din Samiti’ to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of Goa Revolution Day. An essay writing competition was held at Adarsh V.V. High School. Abhigyan Roy, Sankalp Pai Kakode and Riya D. Verlekar represented our school in the event. Miss. Riya D. Verlekar secured the first place in the essay writing competition.
- In Science Seminar Mast. Saish Raikar won the first & second prize in the zonal Level Science Seminar 2018 (south zone) held at S.C.E.R.T. Porvorim, Goa held on 16th & 21st August 2018.
- In Quiz Mast. Ketan P. Kunkalikar won the third prize in the Science Quiz 2018 organized by Marathi Vidnyaan Parishad, Goa Vibhag. Miss. Astha Kossambe and Miss. Vidhi Borkar won the first prize in the Inter-School Quiz competition on “Tobacco and its ill effects” organized by District tobacco control cell, Hospicio Hospital, Margao in association with Primary Health Centre, Cansaulim. Held on 15th February 2018.
- Miss. Vidhi Borkar and Miss. Astha Kossambe won the second prize in a science quiz competition organized by Aryabhatta science Club of Damodar English High School, Gudi paroda on 7th March 2018.
- Mast. Alex Pereira, Mast. Shlok Salunk and Mast. Amit Sukhtankar secured the 4th place at the History of Goa Quiz.
- In Elocution & Story Telling Miss. Diya Padiyar and Mast. Vastav Rivonkar of Std IX bagged the second place as the best team in the Elocution Competition organized by Holy Cross High School Quepem. Diya Padiyar won the Consolation prize at the same. Miss. Astha kosammbe of Std X bagged the 1st prize in the Sanskrit storytelling competition organized by SCERT at the Zonal level and the consolation prize at the State level.
- On the occasion of Kranti Din 18th June, The Kranti Din Samiti organized a Patriotic Singing Competition and our school won the 3rd Prize.
- The Students won the 2nd place in the all Goa patriotic singing competition organized by the Gomantak Rashtra Bhasha Vidhyapeeth.
- The school won the First Prize in the State Level Drama Festival 2018-2019, held at Goa Science Centre, Miramar, Panaji, Goa on 25th September 2018. Also won the Second Prize in the in Western Zonal Level Science Drama Festival 2018-2019, held at Nehru Science Centre, Worli, Mumbai on 28th November, 2018.

Students of Bhatikar Model High school participated in State Level Inter High School Competition, TALEXPO organised by Dr. K.B.Hedgewar Higher Secondary School, Cujira- Panjim, and emerged as the runners-up with the second highest score. They were awarded with a Runners-up Trophy and cash prize of three thousand rupees.

Advait Kudchadkar, student of Std IX at Bhatikar Model High School, Margao, participated in DIDAC 2023, the 13th edition of Asia’s largest education expo held in Bangalore in October 2023.
Advait participated in DIDAC as Brand Ambassador of Goa CARES (Coding and Robotics Education in Schools), Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa, along with the CARES team, to present live demonstration of the CARES curriculum designed to develop computational and design thinking skills among students.
Advait had earlier bagged 1st place at Taluka Level and 2nd place at Goa State level prize at the Blender-based creative design thinking competition “Blender Nation-thon” conducted by Goa CARES in September 2023. At DIDAC, Advait showcased his prize winning projects from the competition which he had created using Blender software.
We are indeed proud of Advait. Congratulations to him and his parents.

Annual Exhibition 2023
The Annual Exhibition of the School was held on 28th February, Science Day to commemorate the Raman effect.
The Exhibition was declared open by our ex-Headmistress Sarita Malkarnekar. Students put up a number of projects and activities in all the subjects. The Exhibition was open to parents, students and the public. Some snapshots of the Exhibition.

School life is incomplete without competitions. Competitions in schools motivate students to realize their strengths and work upon their weaknesses. They boost their self esteem, communication skills, creativity and confidence. They help to make children emotionally and mentally strong. Every year just prior to Independence Day we hold competitions in story telling, elocution and dance to give children an opportunity to showcase their talents. This year too there was an overwhelming response.
And what is more important is some of our own ex students were our judges… our talented artists who know very well the anxiety and pressure each child experiences. Thank you Jyotee Pandey, Diya Padiyar, Trisha Bene, Sweta Kalwar, Sahil Khanvilkar.

Our talented artist Siya Salil Bhobe has done it again! Her painting has been selected to be displayed at the MOG- Musuem of Goa in the Children’s Art Section from 17th to 24th December. She was awarded a Certificate Of Achievement at the hands of renowned Artist Mr Subodh Kerkar, on 18th December for her artwork. Congratulations Siya.

Animation takes a very long time to learn, and it also takes a longer time to master the art well. Yet our student Dhruv Gaurav Pai Dukle of Std. VII has not only mastered this art to a certain level, but has won the 2nd place in the Animation Contest organised by the IKCC – International Kids Coding Competition. He is the only Indian among all the winners. Having developed a keen interest in coding he has developed several apps on his own . We are so proud of Dhruv. A big shout out to this creative genius and to his parents and mentors, Teacher Elma Fernandes and Rajani Markande.

Kranti Din: Students of the school won prizes at the competitions held at Lohia Maidan on 18th June Goa Kranti Din. Our singing group won the 2nd Prize at the Group Singing Competition. Lead to Transform — The Council of Ministers of Bhatikar Model attended a workshop in Loyola High School on 29 June 2019. Lead to Transform was a wonderful experience where they learned qualities of leadership, time management and how to augment their skills and goals. The School Ministers Vaishnavi Kavitker, Malvika Korgaonker, Diya Padiyar, Yuga Sambary, Trisha Bene, Shruti Nayak, Amit Kumar Painku, Shrey Kumar Singh, Akshay Koujalgi, Vastav Rivonkar, Samarth Naik and Nilesh Udipi actively participated in this School Cabinet workshop “LEAD TO TRANSFORM”. They were accompanied by mentor teacher Manisha Dhume.
World Mangrove Day
Mangroves are coastal ecosystems that are vital to the environment. They buffer the coastal communities from storms, floods, and hurricanes and prevent soil erosion. The Dept of Zoology, Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science in association with the Mangrove Society of India, organized a poster competition to commemorate The World Mangroves Day on 26th July 2019. Our team comprising of Shruti Nayak and Vismay Kalekar won the 1st place. Congratulations to the students and mentor art teacher Sachin Naik.

- On 18th June 2018, an inter-school essay writing competition was conducted by the ‘18th June Kranti Din Samiti’ to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of Goa Revolution Day. An essay writing competition was held at Adarsh V.V. High School. Abhigyan Roy, Sankalp Pai Kakode and Riya D. Verlekar represented our school in the event. Miss. Riya D. Verlekar secured the first place in the essay writing competition.
- In Science Seminar Mast. Saish Raikar won the first & second prize in the zonal Level Science Seminar 2018 (south zone) held at S.C.E.R.T. Porvorim, Goa held on 16th & 21st August 2018.
- In Quiz Mast. Ketan P. Kunkalikar won the third prize in the Science Quiz 2018 organized by Marathi Vidnyaan Parishad, Goa Vibhag. Miss. Astha Kossambe and Miss. Vidhi Borkar won the first prize in the Inter-School Quiz competition on “Tobacco and its ill effects” organized by District tobacco control cell, Hospicio Hospital, Margao in association with Primary Health Centre, Cansaulim. Held on 15th February 2018.
- Miss. Vidhi Borkar and Miss. Astha Kossambe won the second prize in a science quiz competition organized by Aryabhatta science Club of Damodar English High School, Gudi paroda on 7th March 2018.
- Mast. Alex Pereira, Mast. Shlok Salunk and Mast. Amit Sukhtankar secured the 4th place at the History of Goa Quiz.
- In Elocution & Story Telling Miss. Diya Padiyar and Mast. Vastav Rivonkar of Std IX bagged the second place as the best team in the Elocution Competition organized by Holy Cross High School Quepem. Diya Padiyar won the Consolation prize at the same. Miss. Astha kosammbe of Std X bagged the 1st prize in the Sanskrit storytelling competition organized by SCERT at the Zonal level and the consolation prize at the State level.
- On the occasion of Kranti Din 18th June, The Kranti Din Samiti organized a Patriotic Singing Competition and our school won the 3rd Prize.
- The Students won the 2nd place in the all Goa patriotic singing competition organized by the Gomantak Rashtra Bhasha Vidhyapeeth.
- The school won the First Prize in the State Level Drama Festival 2018-2019, held at Goa Science Centre, Miramar, Panaji, Goa on 25th September 2018. Also won the Second Prize in the in Western Zonal Level Science Drama Festival 2018-2019, held at Nehru Science Centre, Worli, Mumbai on 28th November, 2018.

Students of Bhatikar Model High school participated in State Level Inter High School Competition, TALEXPO organised by Dr. K.B.Hedgewar Higher Secondary School, Cujira- Panjim, and emerged as the runners-up with the second highest score. Advait Kudchadkar, student of Std IX at Bhatikar Model High School, Margao, participated in DIDAC 2023, the 13th edition of Asia’s largest education expo held in Bangalore in October 2023.
Advait participated in DIDAC as Brand Ambassador of Goa CARES (Coding and Robotics Education in Schools), Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa, along with the CARES team, to present live demonstration of the CARES curriculum designed to develop computational and design thinking skills among students.
Advait had earlier bagged 1st place at Taluka Level and 2nd place at Goa State level prize at the Blender-based creative design thinking competition “Blender Nation-thon” conducted by Goa CARES in September 2023. At DIDAC, Advait showcased his prize winning projects from the competition which he had created using Blender software.

Bhatikar Modal High School Ghogal Madgaon, Hani Parents-Teachers Association Primary Class’s Adaran Single Festival on 18th July, 2023.
Festival students presented self-written, self-directed “Walk Like A Man” and “Life” two single-divisioned “Theatro Fiesta” inter-divisional individual terms and second prize Favo Jallyo. On the occasion of this festival, the images of these two singles should be given. In the presentation of the single “Kal Aaj Kal” written by Gautam Anant Gawde and directed by State Pavandyavayale Payle couple in Tashench Science Unit.

Our students Miss Sakshi Swain and Miss Alfiya Shaikh of std. X participated in the All Goa Elocution Competition organised by Goa Science Centre in coordination with the State Family Welfare Bureau. The topic for the competition was ‘Effect of Overpopulation on Development and Nature’. We are proud to announce that Miss Sakshi Swain won the first prize. Congratulations to Sakshi! Annual Exhibition 2023
The Annual Exhibition of the School was held on 28th February, Science Day to commemorate the Raman effect.

School life is incomplete without competitions. Competitions in schools motivate students to realize their strengths and work upon their weaknesses. They boost their self esteem, communication skills, creativity and confidence. They help to make children emotionally and mentally strong. Every year just prior to Independence Day we hold competitions in story telling, elocution and dance to give children an opportunity to showcase their talents. This year too there was an overwhelming response.
And what is more important is some of our own ex students were our judges… our talented artists who know very well the anxiety and pressure each child experiences. Thank you Jyotee Pandey, Diya Padiyar, Trisha Bene, Sweta Kalwar, Sahil Khanvilkar.
We will always be grateful to our parents Arya Pai Raiturkar, Ashwini Pai Dukle, Shoma Bhobe, Vinita Pai Dukle, Suchila Lotlikar and teachers Ramesh Naik and Gautam Gawde who helped judge the competitions.

Our talented artist Siya Salil Bhobe has done it again! Her painting has been selected to be displayed at the MOG- Musuem of Goa in the Children’s Art Section from 17th to 24th December. She was awarded a Certificate Of Achievement at the hands of renowned Artist Mr Subodh Kerkar, on 18th December for her artwork. Congratulations Siya.

Animation takes a very long time to learn, and it also takes a longer time to master the art well. Yet our student Dhruv Gaurav Pai Dukle of Std. VII has not only mastered this art to a certain level, but has won the 2nd place in the Animation Contest organised by the IKCC – International Kids Coding Competition. He is the only Indian among all the winners. Having developed a keen interest in coding he has developed several apps on his own . We are so proud of Dhruv. A big shout out to this creative genius and to his parents and mentors, Teacher Elma Fernandes and Rajani Markande.

Kranti Din: Students of the school won prizes at the competitions held at Lohia Maidan on 18th June Goa Kranti Din. Our singing group won the 2nd Prize at the Group Singing Competition. School Cabinet workshop
Lead to Transform — The Council of Ministers of Bhatikar Model attended a workshop in Loyola High School on 29 June 2019. Lead to Transform was a wonderful experience where they learned qualities of leadership, time management and how to augment their skills and goals. The School Ministers Vaishnavi Kavitker, Malvika Korgaonker, Diya Padiyar, Yuga Sambary, Trisha Bene, Shruti Nayak, Amit Kumar Painku, Shrey Kumar Singh, Akshay Koujalgi, Vastav Rivonkar, Samarth Naik and Nilesh Udipi actively participated in this School Cabinet workshop “LEAD TO TRANSFORM”. They were accompanied by mentor teacher Manisha Dhume.
World Mangrove Day
Mangroves are coastal ecosystems that are vital to the environment. They buffer the coastal communities from storms, floods, and hurricanes and prevent soil erosion. The Dept of Zoology, Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science in association with the Mangrove Society of India, organized a poster competition to commemorate The World Mangroves Day on 26th July 2019. Our team comprising of Shruti Nayak and Vismay Kalekar won the 1st place. Congratulations to the students and mentor art teacher Sachin Naik.

An essay writing competition was held at Adarsh V.V. High School. Abhigyan Roy, Sankalp Pai Kakode and Riya D. Verlekar represented our school in the event. Miss. Riya D. Verlekar secured the first place in the essay writing competition.
- In Science Seminar Mast. Saish Raikar won the first & second prize in the zonal Level Science Seminar 2018 (south zone) held at S.C.E.R.T. Porvorim, Goa held on 16th & 21st August 2018.
- In Quiz Mast. Ketan P. Kunkalikar won the third prize in the Science Quiz 2018 organized by Marathi Vidnyaan Parishad, Goa Vibhag. Miss. Astha Kossambe and Miss. Vidhi Borkar won the first prize in the Inter-School Quiz competition on “Tobacco and its ill effects” organized by District tobacco control cell, Hospicio Hospital, Margao in association with Primary Health Centre, Cansaulim. Held on 15th February 2018.
- Miss. Vidhi Borkar and Miss. Astha Kossambe won the second prize in a science quiz competition organized by Aryabhatta science Club of Damodar English High School, Gudi paroda on 7th March 2018.
- Mast. Alex Pereira, Mast. Shlok Salunk and Mast. Amit Sukhtankar secured the 4th place at the History of Goa Quiz.
- In Elocution & Story Telling Miss. Diya Padiyar and Mast. Vastav Rivonkar of Std IX bagged the second place as the best team in the Elocution Competition organized by Holy Cross High School Quepem. Diya Padiyar won the Consolation prize at the same. Miss. Astha kosammbe of Std X bagged the 1st prize in the Sanskrit storytelling competition organized by SCERT at the Zonal level and the consolation prize at the State level.
- On the occasion of Kranti Din 18th June, The Kranti Din Samiti organized a Patriotic Singing Competition and our school won the 3rd Prize.
- The Students won the 2nd place in the all Goa patriotic singing competition organized by the Gomantak Rashtra Bhasha Vidhyapeeth.
- The school won the First Prize in the State Level Drama Festival 2018-2019, held at Goa Science Centre, Miramar, Panaji, Goa on 25th September 2018. Also won the Second Prize in the in Western Zonal Level Science Drama Festival 2018-2019, held at Nehru Science Centre, Worli, Mumbai on 28th November, 2018.
